Let's travel from Eastern Oregon to the Oregon Coast! Whenever I visit the coast I have to stop and take a photo of these rocks. There is something about them that says endurance and steadfastness. They are in Lincoln City in the area that we used to call Taft, just north of Salishan. The area has marshes around Spooner Creek before it enters the bay.

Isn't this a great place for my grandsons on a hot summer day? Of course, putting the boat in the pond only happens after all the chores — collect the eggs, feed the chickens and take care of the lambs first!
